What It’s Like to Work Together

Have you recently looked around your home and thought:

“I’m not sure what I want it to become… but I want it to feel different.”

If so, you’re not alone.

In fact, this is exactly where many of my clients begin—not because they don’t care, but because they care deeply and don’t yet have a clear path forward.

And the good news?

You don’t have to figure it out on your own.

This Isn’t Just Organizing

When people reach out to work together, they often think they’re hiring someone to help them “get organized.” And yes—we absolutely do that, often drawing from the KonMari Method® in an approach personalized to you and your life.

If you’re new to this idea, you’re not alone: many people don’t realize that hiring a professional organizer is an option. People may worry they will be judged, or be forced to part with all of their belongings. Not on my watch!

My role is to meet you exactly where you are, with curiosity, compassion, and zero judgment, which allows for something deeper and more impactful to unfold. This isn’t about tidying for the sake of tidiness—it’s about creating a space that supports the life you want to live.

Where We Begin

Every organizing journey begins in the same place:

With a vision—of how you want your home, and your life, to feel.

No two homes—and no two people—are the same. While I often draw from the KonMari Method®, our work together is always tailored to you.

Before we sort a single item, we take time to imagine:

• How do you want your home to feel?
• What’s working—and what isn’t?
• What kind of life are you stepping into?

This becomes our north star—guiding every decision we make along the way.

From there, together, we choose the approach that best supports you:

The KonMari Journey (Category-Based)

For those ready to take a deeper, more transformative approach, we move through your home by category—not by location.

The Process (Step by Step)

We move through your home by category:

  1. Clothing

  2. Books

  3. Papers

  4. Komono

  5. Sentimental items

For each category, we:

• Gather everything in one place, often by subcategory
• Review each item, one by one
• Decide what stays
• Thoughtfully organize what remains

I guide you through each step—offering structure, support, and encouragement along the way.

The Space Refresh (Location-Based)

Sometimes, what you need most is focused, functional support in a specific space.

In this approach, we work area by area—such as a kitchen, closet, or garage—to create order, ease, and systems that support your daily life.

This path is ideal if you:

• Have a specific space that’s no longer working
• Need targeted results
• Prefer a project-based approach

Together, we create solutions that are simple, sustainable, and tailored to how you live.

What Tidying Together Feels Like

There are moments of:

• clarity
• momentum
• relief
• laughter & joy

And also, there may be moments of:

• hesitation
• reflection
• uncomfortable emotions

That’s all normal, and we allow space for all of it.

Consider, you’re not just sorting belongings; you’re letting go of outdated versions of yourself and making space for what comes next. Judgement, self-pressure, and perfectionism are acknowledged, while curiosity and compassion are welcomed. Somewhere in the process, decisions that once felt difficult begin to feel easier as your awareness increases.

What This Makes Possible

By the end of our work together, you don’t just have an organized home.

You have:

• clarity
• systems that support your life
• confidence in your decisions
• and a space that reflects who you are now

And something else begins to shift, too. You spend less time managing your home—and more time living in it.

There’s more space for the things you actually want to do with your time. It becomes easier to welcome others in. Maintaining your home feels less overwhelming.

Your space becomes a museum of you—reflecting only what is you find useful, meaningful, or beautiful.

And perhaps most importantly: You trust yourself in your own home again— and that changes more than just your space.

Ready to Take the First Step?

If this resonates with you, I’d love to connect.

We’ll start with a conversation—an opportunity to talk through your goals, your space, and what support could look like for you.
